Drone Services
Potomac Excavating uses Phantom 4 RTK (real time kinematic) drone technology at each of our work sites. These drones are created specifically to record GPS information and they geotag images as they are recorded. Capturing drone video and pictures saves time and money in several areas; for our company and our clients.
The information and images captured allows us to measure the dirt that is being moved on site and bill more accurately. It also gives peace of mind to our clients project managers who are off-site. The drone footage brings the site to life for these busy managers. It gives a big picture of the projects progress and allows more frequent, detailed updates; even when they can't be on site. And it gives us the ability to do so much more!
